Welcome to biomechanicsbiorobotics.info, a resource for research in systems biophysics at the interface of biomechanics and biorobotics.
At the Stuttgart Center for Simulation Science (SC SimTech), we develop simulation technologies for the solution of complex problems, e.g., in medicine. Developing a Digital Human Model to predict the interaction of the human body with its environment is one vision of SimTech. Additionally, in the research network "System Mensch", we investigate the interaction between neural control and the musculo-skeletal system to understand movement impairments in patients with neuro-degenerative diseases. And many more projects give us the opportunity to strive for the goal of a better understanding of motion in muscle-driven systems.
